Kimi wo suki ni natte Dorekurai tatsu no kaNA? Kimochi Fukurande yuku bakari de Kimi wa Kono omoi kidzuiteiru no kana? Ichido mo kotoba ni wa Shitenai kedo
Yuki no youni Tada shizukani Furitsumori Tsudzukete yuku
He had blown it...again. The secret of the Kaijuu was now known to not only Ravenna Sohma, but now his whole class at school. And not only that...he had told Ravenna that he loved her! He hadn't stayed to hear her rejection if she had...he couldn't stand it though...he didn't want to listen to her rejection...the rejection he knew that would have come. Who would love a freak like him anyway.
Hold me tight Konna omoi nara Dareka wo suki ni naru kimochi Shiritaku Nakatta yo I love you Namida tomaranai Konnan ja Kimi no koto Shirazuni ireba Yokatta yo
Kimi wo itsumade omotteiru no kaNA? Tameiki ga mado GARASU(Glass) Kumoraseta
The song rose through the air from his MP3 player as he said at the center of the maze, eyes closed. The song suited him at the moment. It was blazing full-blast within his ears...he would probably go deaf from it being so loud with his delicate hearing. The secret...it was out. And his life...it would be over. School would end..he would live his life rotting in a cage, or dead...but why did it matter...he was just a freak.
Yureru kokoro Tomosu KYANDORU(Candle) de Ima Tokashite Yukenai kaNA?
Hold me tight Oreru hodo tsuyoku Kogarashi Fubuki ni deatte mo Samukunai youni to I miss you Kimi wo omou tabi Amikake no Kono MAFURAA(Muffler) Konya mo hitori Dakishimeru yo
Eien ni furu yukiga aru nara Kimi he to tsudzuku kono omoi Kakuseru no kaNA?
Zane closed his eyes and gazed up at the bright blue sky, relishing in the freedom the sky gave him it. How long would it be before the Hachimata heard about his little rampage? How long would it be before she went looking for him...How long would she torture him for?
Hold me tight Konna omoi nara Dareka wo suki ni naru kimochi Shiritaku Nakatta yo I love you Mune ni komiageru Fuyuzora ni sakebitai Ima sugu kimi ni Aitai yo
Shaking his head, Zane pulled out a notebook and began writing something within its depths. He wrote on and on for a few minutes, before ripping it out of his notebook and folding it in half, and then in half twice more. He smiled lightly and climbed a few inches into the tree, pushing the paper into the dark hole of a former squirrel home. Either Satomi or Ravenna would find it...pretty much a will...for he was unsure if he would come out of whatever the Hachimata had in store for him alive...And written on the bottom of the note, in as neat as could be English was 'Ravenna...I love you...I'm sorry for the way I have acted towards you...forgive me...I probably won't see you again...but if God does kill me...I'll watch over you...' Once that was done, he slipped back down to the ground, leaning against the tree, eyes closed, as he awaited his fate...

Things weren't always how they were supposed to turn out. Life asn't always like this either. Situations always evolved from conflicts, and it was horrible, especially to have to deal with constant conflicts that were always arising. It was annoying all the same for ust one peson to be stuck doing all the dirty work and being blamed for it all. It was just tiring, but it all had to be obeyed. It wasn't like they could just do whatever they wanted. It was always the way god wanted it.
God really wasn't that special of a person. It was a bit anoying to have to think of how many excuses to come up with to just please one person. The Hachimata was cruel, and wasn't kind to most of the family, so he had very litte to play off of. He had to watch her torture s many people, and it was simply horrible to just watch. It was something that could make anyone cry. Being strong took a lot out of you, and of course it was something that was a bit sad and depressing. If you had to be tough all the time, what space and room did that leave for the needed human emotions, but then again, the Hachimata drained those emotions from you. It was all some sort of a goal in her twisted, sick, demented game. She was always like that though. It would be interesting to find out that she had a heart to show.
All of these events just made Shane a bit pissed off. What was he supposed to do now!? Was he supposed to try and be the savior to the entire family that so seemed to hate him!? It was craziness. He wanted everything to be okay, but he would be punished ifhe even tried to interfere. It just wasn't that fair, now was it? He tried to keep everything settled, but he came out loking bad in the end, and if he messed ay of the Hachimata's plans up, then he would be punished. She had total dominance over him and the entire family. He was given to her as atoy, a tool, and he was nothing more or less to her. He couldn't help but love and hate her all at once.
His hands now clenched into tight fists as he seemed to close his eyes carefully to hide the sadness inside of him. He was commanded to do the unthinkable, and of course he knew he wouldn't do that. There was too many hings inhumane about that, and he didn't want to become a monster because of it. He knew where Zane was, he knew exactly where the boy was, and of course he would have to do something about it. There was no way that he would kill the boy like the Hachimata requested. The Hachimata had been watching everyone whether they knew it or not, and since that girl had started hanging around them, shehad kept an even closer watch on them.
Of course he knew this maze like the back of hs hand. How many times had members of the family gotten lost in here now? Well, certainly it seemed intimidating and would scare all the people as children, but the silver eyed badger went through the entire maze and memorized it. No one else knew it as well, so there was no running and no escaping, a reson why he was sent to kill the boy who was his cousin.
He quietly ebbed into the maze, his silver gaze focusing clearly on his surroundings. It only took a moment to pinpoint Zane's locations in the center and walk there. "Zane," he breathed aloud, his expresson unreadable. It was always like this, wasn't it? He seemed to have an unreadable aura, yet he always had a goal in mind for what he did. He smiked gently at te boy before him, looking rather intimidating with his height.
When his hand balled into a fist, his voice now got serious. "Look, the Hachimata sent me to kill you. .. . but I will not do that. . . . you are my family, and will never be anything less. Please though. . . get out of here. . . . get away from the family. . . . and I suggest you be careful with what you take with you. The Hachimata has us under her control and can see this going on right now, so I know that I may as well be good as dead, but hey, I'm saving someone's life. . . at least I hope I am. . . maybe the cursed family members won't go to hell after all. . . but there's no way to tell in truth." He closed his eyes and stretched now, his hands sifting through his gorgeous silver hair. "I just want to do one thing right before I die. . . it's best to not die as a puppet or a servant, but as a free man."
He wondered if Zane would even make an attempt to leave. It would certainly be bit harsh, and this information that was spoken by him might be a bit much to take in, but he wasn't sure, and of course he just didn't know anymore, but all in all, he seemed to pray that he would make the right decision.

Lifting his head, Zane could scent the smell of another coming towards him. Being an animal, he had a good sense of smell. He sniffed the air slightly, and his eyes narrowed slightly. It wasn't he Hachimata...which meant he had a little bit longer to live...but it was Shane. The badger. The Hachimata's pet. Well...apparently Zane wasn't good enough for the Hachimata if she sent the Badger to kill him!
A hiss rose in Zane's throat as the Nekotama rose to his feet, his gaze cold, but fearless. He had already accepted the fact that his life would soon end. Whether Shane took his life, or God did...it was going to end. Besides, he could never show his face around school, especially not around Ravenna. She was going to reject him...he knew it in his heart that she was going to reject him.
All Zane heard from Shane was him merely saying his name before his hand shot out to literally, b*tch slap him across the face. He was going to die anyway...so he might as well show Shane what he thought about him. An amused grin crossed his lips. "Shane-sama...you don't need to say anything to me...you're going to kill me...I know you are. And I've already accepted my fate..." he turned his gaze away from the Badger to look up where he had left the note for Ravenna and Satomi. "I can never go back to my former life anyway...I revealed the secret and...I revealed my feelings for somebody...somebody who I know if going to reject me...so kill me now..."
Zane whipped around to stare at Shane slightly. "What? You're not going to kill me.." he murmured, looking...relieved? No..more disappointed than anything. So he had slapped Shane across the face for no apparent reason now? How..nice. And he had revealed that he had feelings for somebody?
"You're going to disobey the Hachimata for somebody as unimportant as me?" Zane asked, before barking out a laugh. "That's hilarious...but no...I'm not going to let you die in my place. You should know I'm not like that..." he said, shaking his head. "The Hachimata will hunt me down either way..."
Zane's cool fingers suddenly touched Shane's cheek were he had slapped him. "Ahh...sorry about that..I was giving you a piece of my mind for what I thought about you being the Hachimata's pet." he murmured apologetically.
"As I said before...I won't let you die in my place, Shane-sama." he said, smiling. "If anything, since you were going to let me escape, you should escape yourself...I'm going to die anyway..so what's it if I die for you as well?" he asked softly, smiling.

There was always something to think about, and things were always being thought about if that even seemed to make any sense whatsoever. Shane was always trying his best to find his true purpose for he really didn't know anymore if he did have a purpose, and of course it was kind of sad too. He couldn't blame them though. It kind of was his fault that things ended like this for him. He gave in and served the Hachimata from the start. He obeyed her, but inside he secretly feared the girl. She was just so cruel to everyone else, and he seemed to feel very guilty that he had watched his own family suffer because he was afraid of what would happen to himself if he disobeyed. He felt a bit depressed though, and he only seemed to blame himself for all the suffering of everyone else around him.
He seemed to just let his eyes close. They were full of melancholy and loneliness. The Hachimata never really bothered herself to pay attention to him at all. He was usually left alone in the darkness to suffer, but he wasn't as abused as the other family members, and it was just even worse to be the eyes for the Hachimata. He seemed to hate that the very most. He was the traitor of his family, and he was most certainly ashamed of his own behavior. It was fairly depressing to him. He felt himself bit his lip now as he seemed to stare ahead of him at his cousin. He refused to betray his family any longer, and it didn't matter if they hated him. They may always hate him, but he was the one that had started down the wrong path, but he was sure that he wouldn't finish down that path of darkness. He stared in shock as he was slapped. Out of all the emotions in the world, he was surprised, and guess what? That triggered his curse, and he transformed into the badger. What a foolish badger he was. He shook his head slightly as he stared up at Zane since he was no longer taller than the male. "I never had the intention of killing you," he said quietly.
He let out a slight sigh as he seemed to just stare blankly, then he blinked. He admitted his feelings to someone? That was crazy, unless this person knew about his curse, but then again who knew who this crazy kid was in love with, but it was pretty easy to guess who it might be. He watched carefully as Zane now seemed to take in and realize the truth that he wasn't going to kill the boy. That was just cruel and simply wrong. He stared carefully at him now as he nodded. "Yes. I won't kill you." He didn't say anything though about being slapped. It was only a portion of what he deserved, and Shane felt as though he deserved death, it was truly worth all the suffering that he had caused his very own family.
He stared now at Zane when he seemed to just laugh at him. It wasn't funny at all. It just wasn't. He was willing to die for him and he was laughing. That most certainly was a sign of insanity, though he was sure that something would make sense of this. Shane was a logical thinker so he was really trying to figure out a logical reason to explain this behavior from his cousin. "I've realized that my family is important, and since you most definitely are a part of my family, I think that it is important for me to protect them. . . . and I deserve nothing more than death for the way I have treated all of you, and I want to make sure that you at least have the chance to get away. . .and if I can help it. . . I will make sure that the Hachimata won't find you or track you down."
He stared at Zane. "It's fine that you. . . that you slapped me. I guess I deserved it. I just lost my senses, and I don't know what is right and what is wrong anymore," he breathed slightly, his expression lightening a bit. "I do know that what I want to do now is definitely the right thing to do, and it will make me a bit happier if I know that I did something right for once in my life."
He shook his head now at the foolish boy before him before he disappeared in a puff of obsidian and rouge smoke. Now in the place when the smoke cleared away was Shane. Of course he didn't have any clothes on right now, but he didn't seem to freak out like some people would. His porcelain skin seemed to shine in the light, and he of course had the build of nothing but pure muscle. He had the perfect body that anyone would want to have, the body build that any guy would be jealous of. He sighed slightly as he pulled on his clothes, and finished by casually shrugging on his button down shirt, but of course he was too lazy to do much, so he left it open so that his porcelain skin would show on his delicately muscled chest. "The Hachimata already knows that I have betrayed her, and she already wants me dead now, and I know this for a fact, I will never let you die in my place. It is not your place to die like this!" He seemed to end his sentence with a slight shout and he blinked slightly when he noticed how close he had gotten to his cousin. He pulled back slightly and simply crossed his arms. "Please. . . . don't say that . . . please. . . don't say you are going to die when you can't see into the future."
He let his silver gaze scan Zane up and down for a brief moment. "I hate how you can so easily say with a smile on your face that you would die for someone like me. . . someone who made you suffer like this for so long. . . when I knew that I had the chance and ability to end this all before. . . . I never did stop. . . I followed for fear of my own life. . . what type of selfish person am I?" He felt himself tremble slightly as he felt tears begin to run down his face. "Tell me now. . . . is the girl that you love. . . . is that. . . is she the girl that knows about us. . . and about our curse. . . . or is it someone else?" He paused slightly then placed a hand on Zane's head. "If the girl does know about our curse. . . . and wasn't afraid when you first met her and she saw you transform. . . then. . . . why do you think she would reject you or hate you for being cursed and loving her if she didn't from the beginning." He stared now into the boys eyes as he tried to find a serious answer in them that might mean something. "If you ran before you got an answer. . . . or anything, don't you think you should get an answer from the one you love first before you begin to act so conceited, and so suicidal? Don't you think other people would CARE if you died!? I know people wouldn't care if I just vanished off the face of the Earth. . . ." He turned his back now to Zane. "That is why it would be better for someone as insignificant as me to die. . . . please. . . . just listen to me and leave. . . . I will try and stop the Hachimata on my own," he breathed lightly as he let his hands drop to his side. If there was only one thing in the world that he could have, it was just to do this right now, but who knew what his foolish cousin would do or think about this, but whatever was supposed to happen next would most certainly happen and there was no stopping this at all.

"No intention of killing me..." Zane murmured, closing his eyes and staring down at the floor. "Well..for a minute there I thought I wasn't worth the Hachimata's time if she sent you instead of her to kill me...and I know I'm not worth her time." he said. "I'm not worth anybody's valuable time really...so it wouldn't have surprised me to send you instead of herself coming to kill me." he laughed bitterly, his gaze glancing up at the place where he had hidden the note.
Looking at Shane boldly through his green eyes that seemed to glow slightly within the light as he sighed. "Shane-sama...you don't have to die for me...the family understands...we are all afraid of the Hachimata...but...we must all eventually face the one we fear the most." closing his eyes he smiled softly. "And that's what I'm doing now...I fear her...and I fear dying...and I'm going to do what I must to protect the ones that I love...which includes you...you're family after all...and family should stick together...don't die for me....you've been through enough.." And for the other ones he loved...Ravenna and Satomi. Some more then others, but still...he was going to protect his loves...even if it meant getting himself killed for it. He would take the blame for the girl knowing about the curse...and also in the written note, in english, he had told Ravenna again about the curse...just in case she ever forgot about it...and was forced to forget. He could only hope that Satomi could find the note and then show it to Ravenna.
"It's the thought that counts, Shane-sama...and actions speak louder than words." Zane said, shaking his head. "I won't think any less of you if I died for you...but I would die happy knowing that I could help somebody live...and that you had changed for the better...just run away...she knows you betrayed her...run....to American, Europe...Africa...it doesn't matter...live happily..." he murmured.
Zane wasn't really phased by the naked male before him...after all, he had no feelings of affection to the other male...plus, he was used to seeing the males of the family without clothes, some of the females, but he was awkward around the females...more than males. Shaking his head, no longer smiling as he had been. "I won't let you die for me...she wants me dead as well...I did something far worse than just betray her...I transformed in the middle of my class...and now more people know about our curse...they know what we are...how we're freaks..."
Zane smiled again and tilted his head to the side cutely, but the smile was fake. "I can smile because I know that I will finally be free o the curse if I die...I'll be in someplace much happier than this...our life is not a true life...we live in secrecy, in fear....and I know there will be a few people who wouldn't care if I died...my own parents wouldn't care....Ravenna probably wouldn't care....Ravenna Sohma...the one that I loved...the one I revealed our secret too..."
"She freaked out...and I would have had her memories erased, but she begged me not too...she wanted to remember....and I allowed it...it's my fault she knows about the curse." Zane said, smiling again. "And yes, I ran...I was afraid of the answer I would receive and I know she would have rejected me...and that she wouldn't care..that's just the way she is...a violent little wretch...one who abuses cats and yells at them...bites their ears."he looked down at the ground, smiling at how Ravenna seemed to act around him. He was sounding like it was just him who had revealed the secret to the girl..not Satomi...he wanted Satomi to live...he wanted him to be with Ravenna...to keep her from being lonely...
"And I would care...do you know how guilty I would feel if I just ran like a scardy cat...I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that because of me somebody had died...because I can't truly hate anybody....I don't even hate the Hachimata like I should...I can't hate anybody...it's against my nature..." Zane smiled softly, reaching our and stroking the side of Shane's face before suddenly hugging the male...not caring how gay it looked or how ackward it was. He could feel the tears welling up within his green eyes and he blinked the back. "So....please...let me die for you...it's the least I can do...you have known very little love in life...and I'm giving you a chance to live it...find somebody to love you for who and what you are...somewhere out there, there is somebody who will...Ravenna did...she accepted me for what I was..."
Zane released his cousin from the embrace and sighed heavily, turning to gaze at the entrance to the center of the maze, his eyes bright and glistening wet with tears that he knew wanted to fall. "Shane-sama...go...there's no point in us both dying...that would be pointless...don't erase Ravenna's memories...but if you have to..she won't forget...I know she won't..."

Fear. . . . that was something that most people had. Everyone seemed to fear something, yet most people kept those secrets to themselves. If they did say what their weakness was, then everyone would know, and therefore they would be vulnerable. Vulnerability was something that seemed to kill people the most. It always bit you in the ass in the end, and of course it was a pain. It was something that seemed more or less depressing to most people. It was fear though that seemed to make the strong even stronger.
It was an honor though to be god. To be god, you could make all of the rules, and if someone refused you, then you punished them. You would make them bleed so badly, and so strongly that it wouldn't make them want to disobey you again. It was wrong for others to disobey her orders. When one thought that they could do something like that disobeying was easy and didn't get punished for it, they had lots and lots of trouble. They would start a rebellion, and that was something that couldn't happen at all. It was something that was a bit aggravating to deal with, and being the Hachimata and god of the family, Shikyo made sure to put the law down on everyone, and she made sure that all of them would fear her.
Fear was a lovely emotion to mess with. It was an emotion that seemed to effect the human mind the very most. It was a powerful emotion that always triggered the strongest amount of emotions. It was very strong, and a powerful weapon to use against people. Shikyo didn't want to let herself be controlled. Nope. . . not one bit at all. She definitely had to be the one in control. If she wasn't in control, then it definitely wasn't a right real world. She always had a plan for a specific life, and always knew how to end up as the one on top and in charge. It wasn't that hard though to do. She just was that talented. She had a mere gift though for getting her way. She sometimes just walked into a room and got her way, but she was the special one. She was worshiped truly as a god, and she was the Hachimata of the Kaijuu family.
She had known for some time now that the curse of the family had been exposed to a single girl, and when she found that out, she was upset. More than upset. She was furious about it getting out, and she had learned more than just that. She knew who learned their secret, and also who knew the secret, and also which members of the family needed to be punished. She had to know every little detail, and with that, she seemed to let herself focus and concentrate intently on the rule breakers and the ones who needed the most punishment, hence the dog and the cat of the family.
It seemed odd to her at first. The two of them seemed to be fine, but then again, as she figured, all good apples go rotten eventually. It was a true fact for the most part that that happened to people. It was truth. No one stayed the same. They always changed. Change was inevitable. If you didn't change, then the world wouldn't be there in existence, and therefore there would be no curse and no Hachimata or god. There wouldn't be anything like that.
She had taken the time to plot out the moves. She knew though about when a human that was normal found out about the family secret. Once Zane had exposed it, she let herself become more and more filled with rage, and she simply became more and more filled with rage and hate and anger as well. She wouldn't let her mind work like that. She wouldn't do that at all. She would let the hate build up. That was when she thought up the cruelest and most severe punishments, and of course she seemed to be the one who knew all the movements in this game of checccckers. She would jump over all the pieces til she was the last piece on the board left, so she had decided to set off now and make her move.
It wasn't too hard to figure out how to hurt both of the rule breakers. They both had a connection, and they both had a fatal flaw. They were easy to break. Bonds were so simple to smash and crush. So was the bond of family, friendship, and especially love. Any of those were delicate and fragile. They were meant to be shattered, and of course she had the mind set to do that. . .
She had indeed set her plan into action. the second she had found the curse was revealed to the entire class, she had set off in that destination, and she had found each and every last one of the trouble makers of the family around that one girl. Shikyo hated her. What made that girl so d**n special!? She seemed to want to know that more than anything in the entire world, though she also seemed to wonder why they didn't have her memories erased in the beginning as well. It angered her though that these fools had decided to betray her every desire and command. It wasn't something that she seemed to approve of very much, so she seemed to look at this situation with disgust. She definitely knew that something had to be done with this girl.
She grinned maliciously though as she watched the scene before her of the sickening cat ran away from the girl. He had spoken in English as well. Shikyo hated it though that they spoke a language that she wasn't very fluent in. She knew some things, but not too much. She watched the scene carefully and smirked as she saw the male leave the female standing there with a lost expression covering her entire face. It was all too perfect of a moment to miss. She let herself move towards the girl with perfect grace. In this state, she would be easy to manipulate, and the girl would surely follow her. She was amused with that a lot. Her golden brown pig tails moved lightly with her swift movements as she moved like an eagle into this situation.
"You poor thing. . . " she breathed aloud, moving to the stunned girl. "Left all alone. . . . again.. . abandoned, just like you were before, and kept away from the family secret all these years. . . ." A smug smirk appeared on her face. She knew that tis girl had an unusual behavior, so she knew that she had to pick the precise words to harm the girl internally and then later externally she could be harmed. That would leave the girl crusheed and shattered. Then she would know that she should have never messed or gotten into the affairs of the Kaijuu family. The Kaiju family never wanted their secret found out, so she would make this girl so miserable that she would no longer want to ever come near the family again. She moved her fingertips through her pigtails. Her gaze red and vibrant as she tried to almost search the girls mind willingly. "I know why you never were around your family. . . . I know why they never wanted to see you all of those years, and I know all of the lies that they held from you and still are hiding from you." She let her pale fingertips now stroke the crimson haired girls pale cheek. "I can tell you all of that. . . and why you are being abandoned yet again by a boy who you thought was your friend and who liked you." She smirked then let her eyes shine brilliantly as the sun hit them.
"I can make this situation a whole lot better for you, and it will definitely explain anything. . . . ." She smirked then waited for a response from the girl, and of course the girl kept a glassy eyed stare as she seemed to keep staring into space as though under a spell, though Shikyo was positive that the girl heard her words.
When Ravenna did not move or speak to her, Shikyo made sure that her body guards from the Main House had restrained her, and taken her into the car that they had rode their in. "Back to the estate, I have some unfinished business there to take care of with a traitor or two, I will deal with that disgusting dog later," she snarled. She let her nose wrinkle at the mere mention of Satomi, and then grinned as the car drew nearer and nearer to the estate. She stared at the crimson haired girl who still looked quite blank, but grinned as they stopped.
Shikyo ripped the girl out of the car, and this time Ravenna seemed to snap from the trance she was in once Shikyo had pulled her hair, and now held a dagger to the girls thrat as she cut lightly at it, but not enough to kill her. Ravenna let out a shrill scream that was definitely loud, and it pleased Shikyo. She smirked. "You should have let us get rid of your memories back in the beginning, now you will be scarred for life for your foolishness and stupidity." She knew though that she was close enough to Zane for him to hear, and she knew Satomi would have seen her get taken away. It was all too perfect. She could get them all right here and right now, and maybe even kill this girl who seemed to be so important to them all.
