School Project, Oh joy ~Continuation~

[Ravenna Sohma/Shane Kaijuu]

She didn’t care what he thought or even if he was mad. She couldn’t let him be lazy and do nothing. She had to do most school projects on her own, but she would force him to do something. If she had to though, she would make him the test dummy, but that wasn’t very nice, now was it? She let out a small giggle. Her expression didn’t change though as he fell. She stepped on him now as he called her a twit, and it was obvious that she was pissed off now. She clenched her fist now. “Wanna say that again, but to my face this time,” she hissed, digging the heel of her shoe into his back.

Ravenna usually was angry, but this just made her in a way a bit more furious. She hissed slightly as she stared down at him in anger. “Sleeping in class isn’t good. How do you expect to get anywhere in life you baka,” she snapped. She was just trying to be straight up and honest with him, and it seemed that it was hard for the boy before her to get that through his thick skull, but she was sure that she would beat some sense into him eventually. She let out a short snicker as she now pulled him off of the ground and into her arms. In a swift movement, her arm went up to pull his hair. “I won’t be letting you sleep. . . and if you want trouble, you better steer clear of having trouble with me.” She grinned now as she pushed him into an empty seat.

It was clear that Ravenna didn’t have much control over her emotions, but she really couldn’t help it sometimes. Anger must have been something that grew to become a part of her personality, but maybe that was because she was always so different. She let out a small sigh as she closed her eyes in thought, her mind spinning around and around as she tried to figure out what to do next.

It was clear though that someone was watching. The rest of the class was moving on, but it was normal because Ravenna always did something like this, so it was pretty much a routine. She turned swiftly to stare at Satomi. “What are you staring at?” she sniffed, rolling her eyes as she now bent over and grabbed Zane by his ear and pulled him over to Satomi. “Well?” she asked finally, her crimson gaze intrigued and amused all at once.

Zane could feel the heel of Ravenna's foot in his back. "Heeeey. Get off you stupid little girl! Before I like..sic Satomi on you! Or I sic ummm...Shane or or or not her....definitely not her...that would be suicide on my part..." Zane threatened, though the latter he was talking about the Hachimata. Try to get her to attack Ravenna would be a bad thing...mainly for him...a shudder went through his figure slightly. "Uggh...definitely not her." he said, grimacing.

"Anywaay....onto the matter at hand. One. I will d**n well sleep when I want to sleep. You can NOT tell me when I can sleep. And I'm already going to fail...not like it matters...you know NOTHING about our family or what it's like." he spat and if he had fur, it would be standing on end in anger.

Ravenna should know by know that anger makes our little Zaney-kins transform. Let's hope he doesnt' get angrier...would definitely be a problem. Hmmm...you know, Ravenna just makes him naturally angry...just her being there pisses him off to no end. She was just...so...GRRRR!

Zane twisted and turned in Ravenna's grasp, eyes blazing with anger at the stupid girl. "You.Are.So.f**king.STUPID!" he spat, clenching his hand into a fist and closing his eyes. "Calm...calm...no...bah...I can't calm down! Anybody have catnip?" he asked, trying to calm himself down...oh never mind...it wasn't working anyway.

"WOULD YOU LET ME GO GOD d**nIT!!" he screeched as loud as he could. God...this girl just made him sooooo angry it wasn't even funny! And he didn't even no why. It was like she was catnip that was drugged to make somebody angry...with anti-happy-pills or something, and just being near it mad them pissed.

His human form flickered for a moment, his sharp cat-like teeth bared angrily at Ravenna, and suddenly, in a burst of blue fur, yes, he was a blue little kitteh, he transformed, a pair of twin tails lashing back and forth before picking up a random desk and swinging it at Ravenna, fangs bared.

"I'm not staring at anything..." Satomi said as he looked down at the paper he had wrote ideas on. "Someones in a bad mood today...as always...." Satomi thought as he heard Zane and Ravenna fighting. "Sic her? What am I some sort of pet?" Satomi asked as he turned to look at Zane. "The only reason he said that is because I'm a dog." Satomi thought as he glared at Zane. "Why is he going to sic someone on her anyways? He should expect this by now." Satomi thought as he looked at Zane's face. He looked angry and that isn't good.


"Zane calm down......otherwise....." Satomi said. Zane knew the rest of the sentence. Otherwise you'll transform baka and that would screw everything up. "Catnip what the hell? Why would anyone have that with them? Unless they were crazy about cats...." Satomi said quietly and silently prayed that Zane wouldn't transform. Not here. He couldn't. They would get in HUGE trouble if anyone found out. Ravenna wasn't even suppost to know. Then again Zane and Satomi didn't tell anyone that Ravenna knew. This wouldn't end well thats for sure.


"Hes going to transform for sure! What do I do?! I have to calm him down. But how? He probably won't listen. Hes in fully rage now. S***, S***, S***!!!!!" Satomi thought as he looked at Zane's pissed face. There was nothing Satomi could do. He was going to transform any second now.


Satomi almost yelled out in shock as Zane transformed. "Here at school?! I have to get him out of here before he changes back. Otherwise the secret is blow and Ravenna would have to forget about us...." Satomi thought as he stood from his seat. Suddenly Zane started throwing a desk around. "Zane why do you have to be such an idiot?!" Satomi thought as he tried to think of the best way to get near Zane without being hit by the desk. Satomi ran in front of Ravenna and put his arms out in front of her. "Zane stop it...think about where you are..." Satomi said quietly to Zane. "Just calm down.....if our secret is blow....Ravenna will have to forget everything..." Satomi said as his eyes started to burn. "No I can't cry not here." Satomi thought as he blinked back the tears. He had to stay calm. No he had to calm Zane down but that would be impossible....

It wasn’t a pleasant feeling to be called stupid. She was actually really smart, and she was very intelligent for the most part. She never liked to have her intelligence questioned though. It was annoying though that Zane called her out to be stupid. She smirked and dug her heel into him more. A few gasps could be heard though from the students in the class when Zane has insulted Ravenna so openly. Was this boy really that stupid. She wondered thought if Satomi would listen to his cousin like an obedient little puppy obeying the calls of their master. That was an amusing thought, and Shane didn’t seem all that frightening either. Shane seemed to be more or less a boy that was forced to grow up, but that was what she seemed to think about him.

She pulled Zane up to her like she was going to punch him in the face, and she shook him. “Idiot, I will not let you fail, and failure is definitely not an option,” she hissed, her eyes narrowing. She bared her teeth now as he spoke to her. “And. .. I may not know your family that well, but I at least have the heart to help you through it, and to actually find some way to help. What would everyone else think if they actually KNEW” she screamed in complete and total rage.

Ravenna just felt steamed when she was around any member of the Kaijuu family. They just all seemed to have some trait that seemed to irritate her. It was when Zane asked about cat nip that she paused for a moment and blinked. It seemed to snap her completely and entirely from her rage, and in that time, she burst out laughing loudly in the middle of class. It was definitely strange, but she knew that it was hilarious for someone to ask that question out loud so randomly.

She let go of him as he requested and just kept giggling rather cutely as she tried to stop her laughs and suppress them. It may be annoying at times to be around the Kaijuu’s, then again, it always seemed to be amusing as well. She smiled genuinely at the boy as he seemed to still be enraged. It was wrong to grin like that, but she couldn’t help it. She stopped laughing now when Zane suddenly transformed and gasps were sent all around the classroom. She widened her crimson eyes wide as several gasps were sent across the room. She heard some f the annoying and rather preppier people call out that he was a cute kitty and some people call out freaks.

When Satomi had spoken to her and said that he was staring at nothing she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. That comment had caught her off guard though she seemed to know he would deny that he was staring at something, but boys were so predictable for the most part, so she of course wasn’t surprised by his answer. She blinked in surprise as Satomi stood in front of her. She wasn’t weak. No. . . That wasn’t FAIR! She wasn’t even given a chance. She let out a slight sigh as her gaze moved to Zane, and then to Satomi whom seemed like he was about to cry. She moved Satomi aside now into a seat and kicked the desk from Zane and grabbed the boy into her arms and she ran out of the classroom with him. Now that the two of them were in the hall, she bit his ear hard so that his mind would be taken from the anger and now focus on the pain. “ZANE, CALM DOWN,” she hissed, holding him out. If he tried to hurt her, she would hurt him ten times more, and she was ready to do so.

He was just so angry at that stupid girl! She just made him so pissed it wasn't even freakin' funny! Everything about her made him angry! Her attitude, which would make anybody angry, the way she looked...even the way she SMELLED made him angry...everything about the girl made him pissed. He needed catnip...it had a calming effect on him when he was angry like that.

His blue cat figure squirmed in the female's grasp and an angered hiss escaped his muzzle as she bit down on his ear. He began to thrash around in her hold, yowling loudly and cursing at her viciously, in English....she didn't know English, did she? Hopefully not.

"Leave me alone." Zane yowled loudly, tails twitching in annoyance, at least he had sense enough to grab his clothes with one of them before anybody saw or he changed back. "Just leave me alone!"

He was suddenly leaping angrily out the window, a two-story window...{Like Kyo!} he landed neatly on all fours before he stalked off, growling in anger as he ran towards the Kaijuu estate...he had ot get away from that girl!

"What the hell?!" Satomi said as Ravenna forced him into a seat. "Wghat the hell is she doing stupid girl....Zane's angry enough to where he could hurt her...." Satomi thought as he watched Zane. Satomi gasped as Ravenna got to ran and ran out into the hall. "H-How did she do that?" Satomi thought as he followed after them.

Satomi sighed as Ravenna bit down on Zane's ear. "Like thats gonna help...that will just make him even more pissed." Satomi thought as he watched Zane thrash around and cuss her out in english. "Geez...he really must be pissed." Satomi thought as he heard all the swear words he said to her. "I wonder if she knows english? That would be funny if she did..." Satomi thought smirking a bit. He would be dead if she knew what he was saying.

Satomi sighed again as Zane jumped out a two-story window. "God hes really an idiot...." Satomi said as he watched Zane run away. "This isn't going to end well.....I guess I'll have to go back to the estate and tell them what happened....Oh god we are so dead.....and it will be my fault too because I didn't stop him from transforming." Satomi thought as he turned away from the window and faced Ravenna. "I'll see you later...." Satomi said as he walked away from her. "But you won't remember me...." Satomi thought as he began walking back to the estate. He had to get there quickly before Zane did something stupid. Like always. And maybe there could be something he could do to stop Ravenna's memory's from being erased. "Wait why in the world am I walking? I could catch Zane faster if I ran..." Satomi said sweatdropping before he took off in a run. Hopefully he would catch up to him soon.

Zane most definitely had his ways of pissing people off, and most certainly in putting Ravenna in a bad mood. It was enough that he didn’t want to help out with the school project, but now he was being such a jerk as it was. She wouldn’t let the boy go. No way, she didn’t want to for the most part. She knew she had to be the strong one in the real world. Perhaps she was the only person who tried to survive in this dark abyss of nothing. It wasn’t her fault though that she had to suffer so much. She let herself now bite down on her own lip slightly. She would have to find some way to calm this idiot down.

She held him tighter now as he began to thrash around like a moron. He really was an idiot. He didn’t know how to let people in, now did he? She couldn’t blame him, and of course she couldn’t blame the rest of the Kaijuu family either. It was hard to blame someone when it wasn’t their fault that they were born with this curse. It was just so unfair, but she was now more determined than ever to find a way to break this curse. It was the very least she could do. Her life barely mattered to her, so she didn’t really mind risking her very life.

When she listened to his words she blinked slightly. She may have not paid much attention to the situation now, but she sure as hell recognized the foul English words he was spouting. She had grown up her entire life in America until now, so of course she spoke English. It was annoying to be doubted so that way, but since the boy was going to be like that, then she would most likely play his game, and beat him down hard. She was very good at doing things like that, and that was definite.

When he had slipped away from her grasp, she let her eyes narrow. “You bastard!” she spat, but this time in the English tongue. Was his speaking of the English language really bringing her back into a relapse of the language she once loved to speak when she lived in America? She wondered though if her Japanese would be affected by this, but oh well, she would live. Her words were now in fluent and perfect English as she spoke now. Her mind couldn’t even grasp the concept of the Japanese language right now. All she knew right now though was that she was furious.

When he jumped out of the window she blinked slightly, shutting her mouth now. Had she just seen Kyo. She shook her head slightly. No. . . that was Zane, but it reminded her so much of her cousin. She closed her eyes for a moment now as she sighed. This just wasn’t going to turn out very well, now was it? “I won’t leave you alone,” she called out in the English tongue. “I will help you. . . and everyone else in your family as well, no matter what, and that’s a promise!” She wondered if Satomi understood her. Probably not for the most part. He probably lived here in Japan for most of his life, so most likely wouldn’t understand her.

Ravenna looked back at Satomi for a moment, then smiled grimly at him. “Later then,” she murmured. Now, she approached the window, and stood on the ledge with perfect poise and balance and she herself jumped out the window, but she had landed a further distance than when Zane had landed. Ravenna of course had a lot of skills with stuff like this. She had to do something in her spare time when no one else was around to pay her any attention. She sighed now, then looked back at Satomi in the building briefly, then sent him a wave, and took off after Zane. With her speed, she caught up to him pretty d**n quick, and she tackled him to the ground now, her expression a bit concerned with his running away, yet a bit frustrated and angry as well. She made sure though that the boy couldn’t move as she sighed. “Please. . . don’t fight me,” she whispered, feeling a tear fall down her face now. What in the world was she DOING! Crying was certainly not allowed, but she was crying. She didn’t want to loose her memories for his stupidity or anything else. She wanted to stay with the Kaijuu’s and she wanted to learn so much more about them, but if she couldn’t remember. . . if she couldn’t see them again, then she would be so upset. She just wanted Zane to calm down right now and blow of some steam. “If you truly. . . really are angry, I’ll let you punch me till you are content,” she breathed.

So their relationship was reciprocal...he pissed her off..she pissed him off. And yeah, when it came to school, he did the minimal work, if any at all. It was why he was failing most of his classes...well not FAILING..just passing enough not to be held-back a grade...not like he really cared though. It wasn't like he hadn't been held back before...by his parents actually...they just wanted to see how he would react...and that was the one time he had done good in school.

Of course...the Kaijuu family weren't ones to open up...inside the family or outside of it...the cursed members of the family weren't very open...Zane whipped his head around to glare at Ravenna. "You think you know everything...but you don't!" He scowled angrily at the girl before wrenching out of her grasp. "Just.Leave.Me.Alone!"

Zane vaguely heard what Ravenna had said...but she knew English...nice. Well, he sure was in trouble! She would kill him! Well...not if the Hachimata got to him first...then she would have to get in line...God came first after all...He sighed, and looked forlornly at Ravenna. "You won't leave me alone...lies." he said, stopping slightly and gazing up at Ravenna, tails twitching slightly. "My own parents left me alone...so why should you be any different?" he snorted, shaking his head. "You can't help us! If you try...you will die." he stated simply before turning and dashing off again.

A squeak escaped the transformed Zane's lips as he suddenly felt himself being tackled by a familiar figure. A hiss escaped his lips as he shook his head. "Why can't you just leave me alone...I don't know why...but everything about you makes me angry...everything makes me angry..."

Zane's eyes widened slightly. "Don't cry..." he murmured. "Please don't cry...I can't help but be angry....I've never been close to somebody...cursed people shouldn't be spending any sort of time around...normal people." he murmured. "And you just make me naturally angry..." closing his eyes slightly, he ran one of his twin tails across Ravenna's face, wiping away her tears. "Don't cry..."

Zane sighed, still slightly angry...but at himself. "You know...this'll probably be the last time you see me." he stated. "Alive at least." he added lightly. "The Hachimata is going to kill me...and I'm being truthful...the Hachimata...God..is the head of the house..the head of the cursed family...if you think you're mean...compared to her, you're a saint." he said. "Well...maybe I won't get killed..but I'll probably never see you again...I'll probably spend the rest of my life rotting away in a cage." he said sullenly, closing his eyes.

Zane had been talking in Japanese again, but now...he switched to English. "You know English?" he asked lightly. "Well...since this is the last time I may ever speak and see you..." he said, biting his lip. "I love you..." He suddenly broke from Ravenna's grasp and fled...he didn't want to hear Ravenna reject him...after all..who would love a freak like him?

It was definitely the truth that she became annoyed and paranoid at the members of the Kaijuu family, but she understood that they had a path different from normal people like her. They had a path that delt with. School was really the least of her worries. For the most part though, she seemed to focus mainly on the concerns of others. Ravenna in reality was a kind and gentle girl. She just hid that side away with coming here. No one had ever liked the real her. She let her eyes close slightly, her expression lightening.

She couldn’t leave him alone. It was just too wrong. All of this seemed to just make her mind spin over and over again. Leaving someone ane just seemed to be so wrong, and so impossible to do. She wasn't going to abandon someone like that, it was just too wrong. Being abandoned was definately a feeling that no one wanted to feel, so she knew all about it, and she knew that it was a feeling that she never wanted to feel in her life, though she figured that she would feel it eventually. Nothing ws inevitable, so it wasn't like she could avoid destiny if it brought her this.

"I'm not your parents, am I?" she snapped now, her crimson gaze burning now. "My life doesn't mean a thing to me anyways. Maybe I was meant to have a destiny like this! Maybe I wasn't ever supposed to be born! I . . . I just don't know anymore, but whatever! I would give my life to help you! To help your entire family, and if you don't like that, then just kill me now, for whether you like it or not, I WILL help you and your family, and if I can't, then I will die for you all." She nodded slightly, her stance a bit more firm. She wouldn't let go of this, and of course she refused to back down. SHe wouldn't let this happen, there was no way that she would.

She calmly let him struggle now in her grasp. She didn't want to let him break free of her hold. That would just completely suck, and she would have to get him again. Then again, if he was happier to be like that, she might let him roam free. It would be best if he was happy. She couldn't help but cry like this. Being miserable was something that she didn't enjoy, and of course she wouldn't ever enjoy it, but of course she had to live with misery. It was definately a companion of life.

"I can't help but cry," she whimpered lightly. "I have to cry for the people I'd give my life for, even if it doesn't matter to them." She shook her head slightly as the tears just kept running down her cheeks. It was quite melancholi of her and dramatic as well, but it was all worth it. She didn't vare about anyone elses opinion when she now had her own, and she was happy like this. "And. . . I think you should take the time to get close to people. I think it's great that you did, and don't you ever regret that Zane Kaijuu or I may have to knock some sense into you."


When he spoke now, she was enticed on every word as she began to try and comprehend what he was saying to her. This was craziness. She watched him carefully. "No. . .. don't ever think that this could be the lasttime we see each other. Once you say that, then all the hope is lost. . . . don't be the idiot. . . . please don't." She sighed slightly as she let her eyes close now, her expression lightening. "Don't ever say that this is the last time for anything except maybe high school at graduation!" She felt more tears flood down her face, and even Zane couldn't dry them now. "I will die in your place. . . . I enraged the Hachimata, so it is my fault, I will take the blame and full responsibility."

When he suddenly changed subjects and asked her if she knew English, she laughed rather cutely. "Yes. . . . I grew up in America although I was born here. I don't know my family that well, so I really am more or less distant from them. If I know anything though, it is deinately English."

When he pulled away from her and had spoken those words in English, she stood there, her gaze lightening. Did he actually say he loved her? She always ha the thought that she was an unloveable child, yet someone said that they did love her. She couldn't help but blush as she just stood there and stared for the first five or ten minutes before she regained her conscience state and took off after him, words to say forming in her mind. Whatever was to happen next, whatever was meant to be said was up to fate and destiny, and she was going to challenge that, and save Zane, Satomi, and everyone else in their family as well because it was all worth it.
