Ravenna sighed slightly. What more was there to do anymore? School was dull and boring, and quite stupid now. Ravenna pretty much knew everything being taught, so she seemed to wonder what was the point. "What is the point of all of this," she murmured slightly as she looked around the classroom ahead of her.
Ravenna sat in the way back of the room and had the perfect view of everyone. She sat with her arms crossed as though she was better than everyone else and a stern expression that seemed to keep the teachers from calling on her in class to answer a question. It all seemed to work out for her though. In a way though, she seemed to be very lonely as she listened to the teacher lecture on and on about some boring project.
Wow, big deal another project, just more work for herself, something that she needed right now. She rolled her eyes after a moment, her crimson gaze running along the students till it finally rested on the teacher. She smirked now. "I see now that this project is going to be group work, let me tell you, I work alone," she spoke up now, her voice rising above the teachers voice. She of course was known as a loner and the school's loner at that, though she was the one to yell or even lose her tempers while being forced to work with others, though sometimes she monopolized projects so that they were only for herself.
She sighed slightly now as she let her gaze now rest intently on the teacher whom just shook her head at her. This was absurd, who in hell did this teacher think she was talking too? She shook her head a few more times trying to see if she was even understanding what the teacher was saying. She hadn't been paying attention then it hit her when she had heard the names called. Zane Kaijuu and Satomi Kaijuu. She shook her head slightly. Those two of all people.
It wasn't that she hated them. No, it was she felt more awkward around them. It was different being around both of them. They were cursed with spirits of animals that constanly tried to control them. It wasn't quite fear or pity that she felt towards them. She felt more empathetic. She had been away from her entire family up untill now, not knowing anything about why she hadn't been able to see them for so long, though that may have been the reason why she had such behavior problems and was so outspoken now.
She shook her head a few more times. "Are you serious?" she asked after a moment, staring now at Zane and then Satomi. Well she did have to say one thing, it was better than working with other kids who didn't really know her as well. It bothered her though how she hadn't been able to bond with many of the other students, but she could bond with what seemed to be social misfits, or so that seemed to be how they categorized themselves. She didn't look at them like that. Yeah, she had a bad temper and stuff, though she somehow found a way to fit in a lot more with them though she wouldn't admit it to anyone and possibly herself as well.
She stared a little while longer before taking a seat. She couldn't risk being switched partners. It worked like this, she always had to do group work when it was assigned no matter how much she argued and usually if it was a teaching group if she didn't like you then she gave you completely wrong information though you could probably look at that as a small game of some sort. She sighed as she let her head now lay on her desk.
After the teachers lecture she decided to let them get together in groups to get ideas. Well it was definately a science fair project. She could have done this project by herself though the teacher wanted partners. So she stared at them till they decided to join her for she refused to move from her spot in the back of the classroom. She kept her arms crossed as she waited now.
