As Satomi was looking around he spotted something that caught his interest. Zane was coming back over to where Satomi and Tsubaki were. "Looks like something interesting is going to happen." Satomi thought as he saw Zane walking to them. "Hey Zane!" Satomi said as he flashed a smile at Zane. "Whats up? Catch any fish?" Satomi said as he steped closer to Zane. He wouldn't do anything that bad he was just going to freak him out a bit more. "No one will transform." Satomi thought as he looked at Zane and Tsubaki.

She looked up at Satomi. Just a little freaked out about how close he was to her. Even though they were family those ties don’t stop emotions from running high. I won’t transform. he said with certainty and promise. I wont ever have a crush on him or anyone for that matter until this curse breaks. She recoiled slight at the comment. Of I won’t have a crush on HIM. I didn’t mean to imply that you had feelings for him. She said quickly as she saw the very matter of being that they were talking about walk back to them. She wasn’t against those kind of things but she defiantly wasn’t for it. Especially regarding her feelings towards the same person.
Its exactly that idea I hate. When this curse breaks…If that ever did happen. I would be normal. Plain with nothing interesting about me. She said softly as Zane was finally at a stand by right before her eyes. Tsubaki-san he murmured softly in greeting. I see you couldn’t catch any fish Zane-kun. Those fish are meant to be pets not food. She said happily and with a joking tone. She was surprised that his boredom had brought him back to Satomi.
These two haven’t been that close since they were almost at each other. It was probably the illogical thinking of the Dog (Satomi) and the Cat (Zane). She was always in the idea of the cat putting up more of a fight but she guessed that he wasn’t as brave as some of those street cats that live by themselves. She stepped back to get a better look at Zane. Trying to keep her steady attitude that she always gave off to everyone even family at school.

"No." Zane said awkwardly, staring down at the floor. "Those kinda of games are rigged anyway. The nets always break." he said, forcing a laugh. "Would have kept trying, almost out of money though." he said, rolling his shoulders in a shrug. "But...I wouldn't have won one anyway."
"Well, if I had a fish as a pet, I would eat it sooner or later...guess it's a cat thing..." Zane said, shrugging lightly and looking up at the sky. "Can't help it if I wanna eat the fish...not my fault I'm like this..." It truly wasn't his fault that he was what he was...

"Oh, ok." Satomi said to Tsubaki just as Zane came closer to them. "Then why did she say it that way?" Satomi asked himself as he looked as Tsubaki quickly. "Its exactly that idea I hate. When this curse breaks…If that ever did happen. I would be normal. Plain with nothing interesting about me." Satomi heard Tusbaki say. "Whats wrong with being normal? Satomi wanted to ask her. "I want to be....." Satomi thought as he felt like he was going to cry. He wouldn't though. He could control when he wanted to cry or not. "Aw that sucks." Satomi said as he looked at Zane who was empty-handed. "Maybe I could be nice and catch one for him.....hmmm.....no he doesn't like me anyways so he would probably just kill it or something." Satomi thought as he looked in the direction of the game. "You would eat the fish? Raw?" Satomi said as he looked at Zane trying to see if he was joking or not.

Tsubaki gave him a dumb struck look. What’s wrong with being normal he asked her. She gave him a hard look. Satomi for a guy was pretty emotional and the last thing she needed was to explain to Hachimata how and why her older cousin broke down crying and transformed infron of hundreds of people. Even after he promised that he wouldn’t. Something’s especial things like that can’t be kept. There are people around us. People even at this school who wish they do what can with our curse. Saying that we want to get rid of something like this as fast as we can is almost oblivious to all these other peoples wishes. She said normal but there was still a hint of firmness behind her statement.
She wasn’t lying though. She did know that there were some people wanted to fly like she could. Or could swim thousands of feat under the sea like Isonade and many more. But everyone in HER family just wanted to get rid of something like this. She never saw why. Blinded by fear. She though promptly. That probably it though. She shook her head to dismiss the subject.
She looked at Zane. There’s some salmon or something their serving in the Café we can go there if yourthathungry. She laughed freely and offered to show the way for the hungry cat. She did often thing of the attraction between the two. A Bird and Cat. Didn’t cats like hunt birds in the wild? She wasn’t sure since she wasn’t that into watching nature shows.

"Of course, I don't eat fish raw! I have to cook it first...I may act like a cat, but I'm still quite human." Zane said, looking evenly at Satomi, though there was a nervous blush on his face. "Raw fish might kill me.." he said lightly, shrugging.
"Tsubaki-san..." Zane murmured, hearing what she was saying about how people wished that they could do what the cursed family could do. "Any of us would give anything to be normal like them...and they would probably give anything to be like us...but they truly don't know what they would be getting themselves into." he said softly, moving slightly closer to her and Satomi. "I like being able to do what I can do...but sometimes I want to be normal! If I was normal...my parents wouldn't have thought I was a freak..."
Zane perked up promptly at the mention of salmon. "Mmm....salmon...I love salmon! It's like the best fish in the world!" he said, almost...hyper you could say. "But I don't really have that much money...after trying to repeatedly catch a goldfish..." he sighed.

"Whats with that look?" Satomi thought as he looked as Tsubaki who was giving him dumb struck look and then a your really stupid look. "Wow." Satomi said he couldn't think of anything else to say to Tsubaki. He was at a loss for words. I mean what were you suppost to say about something that deep?
Satomi laughed when he heard that Zane didn't eat fish raw. He figured he didn't, but you never know there are some freaks out there in the world. "Everyone whos cursed wants to be normal in someway." Satomi said to Zane suddenly getting serious. "My mother wouldn't of done those things to me if I wasn't like this." Satomi said shaking a little trying not to remember the physical and emotional pain that he went through. "Don't lose it Satomi. Don't cry." Satomi said to himself. Bringing up those memories were so painful, but he wouldn't cry. Couldn't cry. Not here or now.
Satomi forced a smile when Zane was acting like a cat. "Samon isn't that much." Satomi said as he looked over at the samon stand. "And I can in at those games easily so take your pick." Satomi said to Zane.

She shrugged and patted Zane’s arm (she’s too short to reach his shoulder). Ill pay don’t worry. she said and patted her pocked which held her plump wallet. She smiled softly hearing Satomi forcing Zane to make a choice. To get a fish or to eat one. She would rather eat Salmon since it would probably taste better than a goldfish. She laughed to herself.
My mother would of done those things to me if I wasn’t like this. she heard Satomi say sadly shaking his head probably forcing himself not to cry. Sometimes she couldn’t believe how emotional he was. Tsubaki-san she heard san murmur again. Why does he always say her name so softly… He told his story. If I was normal…my parents would have thought I was a freak. She wouldn’t know would she. She was treated differently by the Hachimata. Never being harshly scolded. Being called special by everyone because of her difference from the cursed members.
She heard that some parents hated their children for not being normal. Why though. It’s not our fault that we are cursed. It’s not our fault that our family is the way it is right now. But it isn’t a good reason to beat your child about it. I’m…sorry I didn’t know my parents…never do things to me. Its because of the Hachimata though…Leiko-sama… she sighed as she mentioned the Gods name. It was sure to open so eyes around the school if spoken in vein. The mood on the conversation has turned quieter and a bit more depressing. Not even salmon can save us now.

Leon...or rather his persona Touketsu was walking around the schoolyard. They had arrived ten minutes late due to the fact that the boy had slept in. He blamed it on the fact that the alarm was now loud enough though. They would had most likely been even more late if it wasn't for the fact that Clovis had woken up earlier, prepared clothes for him and cook that is. He had made sure to wake up far earlier than the boy and had even laid out clothes for him to wear along with bringing the shoes into his room for him. Right after that, the man had even scheduled for the equipment to come at a convenient time letting the boy rest. It was one of his special skills after all. Too bad the clothes he had picked was the Kaibara Middle School uniform, as he never like to wear it. It simply doesn't feel right on him as it wasn't something that he was used to wearing.
As usual, he had his eye patch on to cover his right eye, the eye that is marked by those stupid permanent contacts. Seriously, who even invented those? Too bad what the boy didn't know was that it wasn't permanent and simply never tried to take it off before. He was also not using his cane or wearing a hate, making him blend in with people easier. That is except for the fact that Clovis that wore his usual suit, the butler suit. That and the man was tall too, which made him stand out. Walking around, he looked at all the games. He felt the urge to want to play it but he had to keep his reputation of being adult like. It was so hard to resist it though as he stared at all of the games.
"Touketsu-sama, if you want, you can play the games." his butler had chided, with the light smile on his face. Only, the young master had took it as a smirk and looked away. He refused to play the game, that smile was as if the butler expected him to play and then tease him about his childish nature. No, he was much higher than that, he refuse to be like that. Looking at the road in front of him, he tried to see where the stage would be. The school had apparently provided him the stage, but the equipment will be provided by the company. In other words, the school was too cheap to pay for half of the things.
Once he reached the stage, he swore to god, he wanted to kill the principal. What kind of stage was this? It was made out of wood, painted over with the color white with some kind of red tablecloth, but still inexcusable."My Najika can't perform on this." he grumbled. Right after those words had slipped his mouth, he heard his uncle chuckle.
"Touketsu-sama, I don't Think Najika is yours or her boss's."
The boy raised his head up straight in shock."I mean that as in her boss. Of course she isn't mine. It's not like I have a crush on her." he stated, his words sped up that it was almost hard to make it out."Besides, she's probably just a client, that's all." he ended, with a pout, obviously embarrassed.

"Salmon." Zane stated firmly, getting slightly less nervous around the Five-Tailed Dog of the family. He bit his lip slightly. "Goldfish are smaller than salmon anyway." he said lightly as explanation. "Taste better too." Well, seems at one point in time he had eaten a goldfish...
"Thank you, Tsubaki-san..." Zane said, smiling lightly at her. "If I bought it myself, I wouldn't have enough for catnip on the way home. Catnip's pretty good actually...can't really describe the taste or anything, but it is really good...I have a low tolerance for it though..." He had a low tolerance for things like that mainly coffee and sake though, which is why he prefers drinking tea to coffee.
Zane looked between Satomi and Tsubaki...He bit his lip and sighed. It seems this formerly happy moment went all depressing and not-happy. There must be something he could do to lighten the mood. He smiled. "Well, if I wasn't the way I am now, I wouldn't have come to Japan!" he said. "I'd still be in America doing...who knows what..." There had to be something else he could do to help the mood. Games maybe? A ride or two...His cool hands reached out and grabbed Tsubaki's, but hesitated on Satomi's for a moment, but fell on his wrist. "Come on...we should go play some games!"

Satomi noticed that Zane looked more......relaxed. That was a first. This shocked Satomi. Usually Zane would be running from him right about now or trying to get away from him at least, but he wasn't not at all.
"I guess that means that Zane ate a goldfish if he knows that salmon tastes better." Satomi thought as the corner of his mouth twitched. He was fighting back a smile. "Catnip?" Satomi asked Zane. "Wow he really is like a cat." Satomi thought as he looked at Zane who was still talking about the catnip.
Satomi jumped a bit as Zane laid his cold hands on his wrist. He wasn't expecting that from Zane. ""That was a shock." Satomi thought as Zane started to pull Tsubaki and himself toward some games. "Okay." Satomi said as he smiled at Zane.
"Maybe one day we can be friends." Satomi thought as he looked at Zane. "Probably not anytime soon, but maybe someday in the future." Satomi thought as he looked around for games to play.

Post by Ravenna Sohma/Shane Kaijuu on Feb 26, 2009 8:47:05 GMT -5
Shane Kaijuu sighed slightly. He was late to the cultural festival, though it wasn't like he cared very much. It would be the same thing over and over again. So, he went like on normal days whenever he felt like it, of course that seemed to be how he did things, his very own way, and quite frankly he was quite unique in doing that.
Shane let his eye lids shut over his silver colored eyes. He was the badger of the family, and also had the power to manipulate others to tell them information that he wanted them to, making him pretty much the closest person to the Hachimata. He sighed again. This just wasn't his day was it. He of course was required to help out and stuff. He was elected since he was the president of the school's leadership program, much like the student council though the two clubs seemed to fight and argue a lot over what they would do to prove which is better.
It was a fact though that Shane was the one whom had started this club, and of course he was the one who chose members for it, but since there was so few, he was in charge of making sure everyone was having a good time, and if not, he was to make them happy in some way, which usually worked with hos appealing appearance and his dazzling white smile. He therefore had the problem of fan girls, and of course tried his best to avoid them at all costs. It was only for the best though.
He walked casually now, wearing a pair of jeans with two chains hanging down from the belt loop and a hoodie as a top since it was a bit chilly to him. He didn't care if others liked the temperature. He would be in his own house and still get cold. He sighed a second time as he spotted other members of his family. The cat. The dog. And the Bird. "An interesting pair," he chuckled to himself lightly. "The cat eats the bird, then the dog eats the cat," he snickered, though I can tell little Zane-san is a bit annoyed." He let his arms cross as he got closer and closer and now seemed to just clear his throat. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Satomi, Zane, and Tsubaki." At Tsubaki's name he crouched down to eye level and smirked when he said her name. "I see you're doing well Chibi." he laughed slightly standing up again. He of course was one of the tallest males in the family.
He looked at all of their faces. "It seems to me like you guys are all bored with nothing to do." He of course was like that too. I mean, ick, who would want to just walk around making sure everyone had a good time. He let his silver gaze focus upon each member as he seemed to survey them individually. It intrigued him in a way, and he enjoyed it. Ravenna sighed slightly as she entered the festival. Same things that every festival had, what a bore. She thought a lot of things were boring, or just flat out annoying. It was awkward in a way. She hated it so much. It was a drag to say the very least. She let her eyes close for a brief second as she felt the wind blow through her crimson colored hair. She smiled.
She thought it felt a bit nice. Maybe today would be alright. She was an average student of course, good grades for the most part and of course she was the one who participated in many activities such as debates since of course she was the one who loved speaking. She of course was a bit fired up with this event this year. She now paused in thought. What would she do exactly? That question always seemed to get in her way.
She was annoyed enough already with most things there. There was the kissing booth for one, and of course she didn't ever want to go around there. She would save those kisses for a real relationship if she would ever get one. She sighed as she approached one of the games. "Rip off," she hissed at the vendor. "The wind is blowing and there really isn't a possible way to get those tiny plastic rings on that nail." She crossed her arms at that scandel.
Of course with that, she had instantly been given a prize to not tell others not to come to the booth, and she was the pnly winner of a prize, a light pink bunny which she had picked out and now carried in her arms. The bunny Ravenna got!
She blinked slightly when she had been walking away now to see a familiar face. "It's the weird perverted kid," she murmured as she neared. She smirked now. "Hey there Edward Cullen," she mused with a teasing wave a smirk. Of course she was amused. She hated Twilight, and was determined to make fun of anyone who enjoyed those books.
She stared at Tsubaki for a moment. "Is he your boyfriend?" she asked her, pointing at Satomi for a brief moment, then glancing from Zane to Shane. "Hmmm. . . ." she crossed her arms for a moment as she just looked from them several times. "Well, what's up, y'all!?" she mused slightly, winking at everyone quite cutely. Her crimson hair seemed to shine brightly. It was nice quite frankly and she thought that she could possibly hang out with them since she had nothing else better to do. She hugged the stuffed animal tighter against her as she waited for an answer from them all.

"Oh god it's Shane." Satomi thought as Shane walked closer to them. "Hopefully he doesn't come over here." Satomi thought as Shane came closer and closer. "Hey Shane." Satomi said frowning. He didn't really like Shane because he acted mean. "Yea theres nothing to do here." Satomi said to Shane when he said they looked bored. There really was nothing to do sorta. He was going to go with Zane and Tsubaki to get salmon, but that wasn't happening now.
"Oh no!" It's that crimson-haired girl!" Satomi thought as he looked in horror at the girl as she drew nearer and nearer. "Why do I keep running into people I don't want to meet?" Satomi thought sighing. "Edward Cullen? Is that my new name or something." He said to the girl without a smile. He didn't know how she was going to react. She saw him transform and he didn't want her to say anything to Shane because then for sure he would get in trouble. It wouldn't be good anyways. When someone got in trouble it was never good. "Me her boyfriend? No we are cousins." Satomi answered as the corner of his mouth twitched upward a little. "Why does she want to know?" Satomi thought smirking and wondering if she liked him or something. "Um....Nothing." Satomi said as he saw her wink cutely at him. His heart started pounding again just as it did in the park. "I have to go." Satomi whispered quietly as he ran toward the spot that Zane ran towards earlier. "I have to get away from her before I transform again!" Satomi thought to himself as he continued running and didn't stop till he thought he was far enough away from her.
"I.....think I'm safe now." Satomi said as he gasped for air. It was hard to breathe now. He had ran far and very fast. He was athletic sure, but the pain in his heart didn't help him. The thing was he kind of wanted to see her. "I can't! I just can't!" Satomi thought as his eyes burned and as his vision started to get blurry. "Am I crying?" Satomi said as he touched a hand to his cheek and felt wetness.
"I am crying?" Satomi thought as he looked at the wetness on his fingers. Satomi quickly wiped the tears away. He didn't want anyone to see him cry. They would think he was weak. "Pull your self together." Satomi said quietly to himself as he put his hands on his face to help him calm down. "It will be okay just as long as I'm not around her." Satomi thought unsmiling. How could he though?

"Yes, catnip.." Zane said rather pleasantly. "It's the best thing EVER! I like it just as much as I do fish!" he giggled lightly. Well, he WAS rather hyper at the moment...maybe it was because he'd had catnip before he left and it was just now kicking in? This is a rare occurrence indeed from him. Zane hyper..."I think I might be hyper...that's something new! Then again...catnip is called 'Crack for Cats..."
Though, the second Shane had came over, Zane seemed to shed his hyperness for his normal calm nature. His hands fell away from Satomi's and Tsubaki's as he forced a smile. The Badger..he wasn't a huge fan of the badger...he was a bit mean at times...but Zane thought he shouldn't jump to conclusions on one's character before really knowing them..."Shane-san." he said politely, tilting his head in respect to him. Shane was one to bed respected and even feared from his closeness to the Hachimata. "Yes, it is rather boring around here...but how is your night going?" he asked pleasantly.
Zane looked towards the flame-haired girl and tilted his head lightly and smiled. "Hello." he said, nodding lightly. "How do you know my cousin?" he asked. He blinked lightly. "Edward Cullen? Who's that?" he asked, keeping that smile on his face. "Nothing is up right now actually...we're just bored right now...I'm Zane Kaijuu, Satomi-sans cousin as well."
"Satomi-san?" Zane questioned softly, seeing him run off. Zane frowned lightly. "I'll go see what's up..." he said. He took off running after Satomi. "Wow...this is...abnormal...normally it's the Dog chasing the Cat..and not the other way around." Actually, it was quite funny really. Zane was going after Satomi...mainly because he didn't want him to transform in public...he would have to try to get him to revert back if he did transform.
"Satomi-san?" Zane asked softly, having caught up to him. The concern was evident in his voice and though he didn't really like Satomi, he couldn't help but feel bad for the other cursed family member. Changing when being around somebody you had a crush on was rough...he just transformed when angry, which wasn't often. "Are you crying?" he asked, moving closing. He bit his lip slightly, unsure of what to do now.

"Zane followed me?!" Satomi thought as he stared at Zane."No I am not crying!" Satomi said to Zane kind of harshly. "I just am panicing." Satomi said as he clenched his hands into tight fists. "Why does he care whether or not I'm crying?!" Satomi thought as he looked at Zane who looked nervous again. "I'm okay really. Go back to the others. Have fun." satomi said as he started to walk away from Zane. "And thanks for checking on my it was really nice of you." Satomi said to Zane with serious eyes. Her really was grateful. It wasn't like Zane though to go running after him the dog. "Huh funny. The cat chasing the dog. Isn't it suppost to be the other way around?" Satomi asked himself as he forced back a smile. "See you later." Satomi said as he walked further into the park hoping that this time no one would folow him. He needed peace. He needed to get away. He was in pain. Mostly in his heart. He needed to get away from everyone. He had to go home. That would be the safest place.
