After several long moments she managed to let her eyes open as she just stared at them as she now let her mind gain the truth and reality of the situation. She stared at Satomi as he started talking telling her she couldn't tell anyone. That was nice, more orders and standards for her to follow. She would act like she didn't care, though she would keep the secret, she was good at that, and therefore was truted by most people. She nodded slightly. "Fine, I'll keep your guys' secret, though I am not quite sure what to do now, she murmured after a moment, as she seemed to just stare intently at Satomi who seemed to be so serious for once.
She grabbed Twilight now. "If I can discard this heap of junk," she teased as she shut one eye and stuck out her tongue cutely. She let herself blink when she heard them both freaking out about her calling them gay. She was about to say closet queers, but stopped when she heard Satomi transformed because of her. She couldn't believe it. Lies she thought. Her of all people pretty enough to get a boys attention. She burst out laughing now. "Oh my gosh you have got to be kidding me," she laughed out loud and now gave a slight wave of her hand. "It must be sad though. . . . to be hated. . . " Ravenna said after a moment now making the mood quite serious. She sighed now.
She stared at Zane "I only bit you because you bit me and believe me kitty I could have bit your tail," she snorted, narrowing her eyes. Her flaring attitude must have been the reason she was called the fire princess by many who knew her at school for her flaring attitude that seemed to come with her hair. She stared at him her crimson eyes blazing like a fire, something that would intimidate even the strongest willed and bravest person there was. "NO ONE will TOUCH my memories!" she shrilled now furious. "All of my memories are pecious to me, no matter how painful or hurtful," she said now a bit quietly, saying something that Tohru had said to Yuki about her memories being surpressed. "I won't let it happen," she shook her head now, tears forming in her eyes.
"I want my memories to remain, to stay how they are, I couldn't forget, I just. . .can't let myself forget." She shook her head slightly. "My family would be too angry." She let her fingers tighten into fists. "I don't care what anyone says, but I'll run away forever if that is what it takes to keep my memories, it's not like I would do anything to reveal your guys' secret, wuite frankly, I think you guys are kind of funny," she finished sniveling slightly as she brought her fingers to her tear-stained cheeks. She shook her head now. "I promised myself that I wouldn't cry ever again, and look what the two of you have brought me to," she murmured. "Please. . . let me keep my memories," she breathed now, her gaze light and almost lifeless now. "Please." |

Satomi snatched Twilight out of Ravenna's hands. He would never let her throw it away it would be a waste. He stuck Twilight in the bag that was slung around his shoulder. Satomi flinched when Ravenna said hated. Suddenly he started to think about when his mother said she hated him. Satomi's eyes started to burn. Like he was going to cry. "I can't cry." Satomi said as he blinked back the tears. "If you don't tell anyone our secret.....then your memories won't be erased." Satomi said to Ravenna with serious eyes. "Got it?" Satomi asked her. "Well, I'm going home now." Satomi said as he started to walk away from Zane and Ravenna. "Bye." Satomi said without a look back. "I can't wait to get home. Please don't let anyone try and stop me." Satomi thought as he walked away from the two.

Zane sighed in relief when Ravenna said she wouldn't tell their secret to anybody, which was an extreme relief. He smiled softly at the girl. "Thank you...who knows what would happen to us if more people knew..." he sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Actually, we have an inkling of what would happen...bad things." he said simply.
"And it is sad...to be hated..." Zane said softly, looking down at the ground. "Hated by your own mother and father...hated to the point where they wished you would die and you had never been born." He blinked back tears that stung the back of his eyes. He ran his shirt sleeve along his eyes, trying to regain his composure again. But just remembering those words his own mother had told him was hard to not cry over.
Zane forced a small smile, though his normally bright eyes looked glazed over and cloudy from the tears that had almost fallen. Being one of the cursed beasts wasn't a walk in the park..."Which tail would you have bitten? I have two of them..." he murmured.
Zane bit his lip and gazed at Ravenna softly. "I'm sorry we made you cry...but we simply can't take the chance...but you can't tell anybody about us...not even if you meet other members of our family. You can't tell them you know about the curse...questions will arise as to how you know...and the head of the family won't be pleased with us...she could possibly lock us in one of those cages..." he shuddered lightly, not wanting that to happen. Since he had come to Japan, he had been locked in one of the cages twice...
"Good bye, Satomi..." Zane said softly. "I'll be home shortly after you...I think I'll get drunk off of catnip when I get back..." he sighed and closed his eyes for a moment before he looked back at Ravenna. "Please...I'm begging you...please don't tell anybody..." |

Ravenna sighed slightly. This all seemed to be so confusing to her. Heck this whole day was confusing. There was nothing simple in life and that was always being proven to Ravenna, and she was slowly learning about everything that seemed to be happening now. Everything seemed to be happening so fast, and that was what seemed to bother her a lot. She let her eyes shut slightly as she began to think about the current events going on.
She shook her head now to Satomi's comment. "Something tells me though that you're just trying to cover that all up." She smirked broadly. "Anyways, no one would like me, I'm too stubborn and arrogant to be likeable by others." She waved her hand slightly as she let her eyes close now then reopen as she shook her head to confirm her opinion.
She stuck her tongue out at Zane now. "I think it was necessary to bite your ear, it was the only way to get your attention after all," she mused slightly with a small wave of her hand. She grinned now. She sighed slightly now, letting her red hair cover her face slightly. "Don't worry, I am an honorable person and I wouldn't go back on my word, so listen up, I promise not to tell your secret," she murmured gently to the both of them, staring at the two quite sincerely. |

"I'm not trying to cover it up...." Satomi said softly. "And I hope you can keep the secret....It would be bad if anyone else knew...." Satomi said thinking about what would happen to them. He flinched at the thought. "I wonder why hes going to get high off catnip....Hmm must be a cat thing...." Satomi thought thinking about how nasty catnip tasted. On the other hand Satomi was a dog so it was natural for him to not like it. Satomi did like dog treats too so it must be the curse that does that. "Bye." Satomi said for a final time before walking home.

Zane looked softly at Ravenna and smiled slightly. "Well, we like you." he said simply with a smile. "You know, if we didn't like you, we would have had your memory erased." he murmured, petting her head slightly with a smile, now slightly brighter. "But do remember...don't even tell members of our family that you know...the Hachimata would be very angry with me and Satomi for it..." he murmured. "She is unpredictable...she could harm us emotionally...physically...or just throw us in one of the cages...you never know with her."
Zane gave another sigh of relief and smiled. "Thank you." he repeated softly. |

She of course seemed to be listening carefully, something that she wasn't quite used to doing, though of course she would do that when things were important. There were many things that were important and many things that weren't it all depended on what or who she was interested in at the current moment, or if anything decided to catch her attention.
She was used to things like that and that was something that she was always prepared for, though something always seemed to happen. She didn't seem to mind though. Not one bit at all unless something that caught her attention seemed to be boring, but of course she couldn't possibly become bored with Zane and Satomi, they always seemed to do something unpredictable, or even say something.
She usually couldn't stand to not be able to predict the movements of others, but she decided to tolerate it, at least for now, besides, it was sort of fun to try and guess the two boys unusual patterns. It was nice though to have people to call friends and she was satisfied to have finally and hopefully made some to keep. She had to admit though, both boys were kind of cute, but she seemed to push the thought from her head slightly. She couldn't worry about that now, though the thought seemed to be quite tempting to her.
She wasn't one to let thoughts get to her head, though she let them wander in her mind, and rarely let them out, though one to look at her would know that she was thinking deeply about something, and was in a way slightly bothered by that thought, and it led others to think about what could be bothering her. Few had ever dared to ask her, for she usually would apply with a none of your business remark.
"You hope?" queried Ravenna, trying to hide the thoughts by twisting a sour expression on her face. She bit her bottom lip in annoyance. Did he honestly think she was lame enough to go around like a moron and gossip about something like that? Well, it seemed obvious to her that that was the case. She wouldn't talk about something that was unbelievable like that, and who anyways would listen to her really, maybe her family. They seemed to listen to her, though sometimes they didn't, it always depended on their schedules.
Ravenna rolled her eyes slightly when Satomi turned slightly and decided to leave now, with a simple bye. She wondered what in the world could be the reason for him to rush out of the place, but then again, maybe it was her too. She sighed slightly as she let her crimson gaze now rest on Zane as she refused to say bye to Satomi.
She blinked now and felt a slight blush appear on her cheeks when he had placed his hand on her head to pet it. She wondered what in the world that was about, so instantly reacted. She looked at him. "Why are you petting me? And that smile is foolish. . . is this some sort of joke?" she snapped slightly. And to finish it off she stared at him stubbornly. "And what is your definition of like?" she asked him after a few brief moments of hesitation.
She looked away slighlty. "Like I said. . . I'm not the type of girl to stab people in the back. I may seem really mean, and. . .bad tempered and all, but that's not quite me or my personality for that matter all the time." She stared at him. "Do you understand at all?" she asked, her eyes seemed to be a bit calmer and lightened, looking quite liquidy as though she had finished crying though she hadn't been crying at all. She waited for his response. |
