Arcaia. Living in peace for many years, the people grew into a depraved sense of security. When the bandits from the North attacked, ravaging a small seaport, they were shaken. They expected the King to do something: protect them, shelter them, fight back against the villains, but he made no move, remaining in his castle without a word.

With the sense of danger, though, comes the sense of adventure. To protect themselves, many young people took up weaponcraft, using it also as an excuse to travel the country. Since childhood, the story of vile, dark beasts stemming from the Far Desert, in the East, had been embedded into their heads. The brave wish to stop it, the foolish wish to prove it.
